MIM-420 (HIP and vacuum heat treated)

MIM-420 (martensitic grade) is a combination of high strength, hardness, and wear resistance with moderate corrosion resistance. This material is magnetic and typically has less distortion with vacuum heat treatment over that of oil quenching. It’s often used for aerospace, automotive, cutlery, defense, power hand tools, and surgical instruments.
