Additional MIM Materials
These MIM materials are manufactured from pre-alloyed powder or mixtures of iron and other elements like nickel, chromium, cobalt, and silicon. These alloys include some that are classified as soft-ferromagnetic materials which means they can easily be magnetized and demagnetized.

MIM-Cu (Copper)
MIM-Cu, more commonly known as copper, is often used for heat sinks, fuel cells, sensors, high-speed computer processor chips, and applications which require miniaturization, sophisticated design, and improved thermal management/electrical conductivity.

MIM F75 (ASTM F75) - Hipped
MIM F75 is most commonly used in the medical industry on applications that require biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, high strength, nonmagnetic, and wear resistance.

MIM-F-15 (as sintered)
MIM-F-15, also known as Kovar, is a low expansion alloy used for glass-to metal sealing.

MIM-F1537 – ASTM F1537 (HIP and heat treated)
MIM F1537 is very similar in composition to F75, and is also most commonly used in the medical industry where wear resistance, biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, high strength, and nonmagnetic properties are required.

MIM Ni (as sintered) is an alloy most commonly used for applications that require electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
